During our family vacation to Salamanca, we had the pleasure of staying at Hostal Altamira. As an art historian deeply enamored with Spain's cultural splendors, the hostel's proximity to the main square and cathedral was ideal for our explorations. The one child under 3 years policy was a big plus for us, making our stay stress-free. The tour desk on the property helped us plan our visits to the Monastery and Plaza efficiently.The breakfast available downstairs was a simple yet delightful start to our days of adventure. As a mom, I appreciate the convenience of family-friendly amenities, and Hostal Altamira delivered just that. The modern and clean interior provided a comfortable retreat after long days of sightseeing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for the whole family.Parking may be a short walk away, but the central location compensated for it with easy access to charming restaurants for our evening meals. An unexpected treat was the discount at the hotel's restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Hostal Altamira's inclusive atmosphere and welcoming approach made our family vacation truly memorable.
